I want to go too this year, and i'm alone too.
Seems a lot of people are, and are eager to meet others!!

When you thinking of going?

Hello all,

Im a fellow australian chick who lives and loves the great australian land, my advise to you all is just to be wise and use common sense all the time street wise and use your own initiative .e.g.. Alone out after dark in unknown areas. DO YOUR RESEARCH.. In generally you will come across very little, or no hassles at all, bearing in mind that always have to take the good with the bad sometimes... Australians can be very much snobs stuck in a city life, which i gather to just be a city way of life, thats generalising but most time out of the city and in the city you will come across most who are willing to help and be there in general questions or needs.
Australia is amazing and has so much to offer, so much to see, and not enough time to see it all but in saying that best of luck to you all and hope enjoy your travels with in Australia...:):):)

just book it and go. don't worry. australia is super easy to travel and there are so many travelers. You'll meet heaps of people without even trying. you just gotta throw yourself in 100%.

After 3 weeks in sydney I was bumping into people on the street everyday. My only advice, if you are going to travel from city to city, buy a pass on the greyhound bus and try not to plan too far never know who you're gonna meet, and expect to find yourself constantly changing plans.

Hello all

their is nothing to take tension about about your Australia and New Zealand trips and tours.
Just plan your holidays according no. of days to spend and complete advance booking of accommodation etc.
Aussies and New Zealanders are helpful and loving people. Every year these both counties visit by large no. of visiters, so they just welcome tourist.
their r lots of good companies for doing advance booking or try to spend holidays on road in Campervans really great fun.
Always try some new things on holidays............
