I have been looking over card options for South America, i don;t want to be charged every time i withdraw money.

Has anyone got any advice?

STA travel have a card but its £2 every withdrawl. That could amount to a lot of money

Are you planning to withdraw small amounts at every time you mean?
Even with a few more withdraws, you could hardly call it a lot of money. How many countries are you going to visit? You can just withdraw as much as you can every time when entering the country.
It's still the best way, better than carrying US, GBP or Euro cash, which, when changing, means you will pay much more.

Cheers
Michael.

The problem is really, i am going away for three months all over south america. i am sceptical of taking out large sums of money in any country in the world, not just cos of crime but my own negligence. I'm going to Brazil, Argentina, CHile, Peru, Cuba, Mexico and the states.

If its a two pound charge per time, and i splite money with my travelling friend, then the costs may be reduced. Anyone got any ideas?
