well things have been confirmed now, after a lot of debating on wether I was gonna do this trip or not, i just said screw it and went out and bought my plane ticket. I will be arriving in bangkok on feb 11 and here is what I have planned so far but nothing set in stone:
3 weeks in thailand going down south to probably koh samui then heading north to chang mai
1 week in laos
3 weeks in vietnam from hanoi travelling down south
1 week in cambodia
if anybody out there is interested in doing part of this trip with me or even going out for a beer when I'm around that would be pretty cool. I'm 25, male, from Canada. Right now, I'm doing this trip alone but would welcome any company because 2 months is a long time.
I've travelled all through the places you've mentioned. There's lots of solo travellers on the Indo-China circuit, so you shouldn't have problems making friends along the way.
i am also plannning to go to chang mai.
I will be arriving at bangkok on the 27th of februar and will take a plane to chang mai the same day.
I am planning to do some trekking (4-5 days) and then go down to cambodia.
If you interested to meet, send a message
i am female, 33y, belgian single traveler
bump, almost time to leave the coldness of Canada

I'm heading to Thailand Feb 12. I'm f/28 from Toronto, Canada (which part you from?)...I'll be in Ban Phe, Rayong area for 4 weeks, then I trek over for a few days to Malaysia, after that I'll be re-entering Thailand...I'd be interested in the last portion of your trip!
