National Treasure with Nicolas Cage. Sound was in English, but there were also English sub-titles. Not all the sub-titles matched the script, however the sounds were similar

I saw A Very Long Engagement a few weeks ago. Audrey Tautou was as watchable as ever but I wouldn't rush to see it again.

There really are ligers...they are just like Donkeys though, they are sterile and can't breed.

Sorry Joz, donkeys are not a "mixed breed", but mules are - donkey/horse mix and they are sterile, as are the ligers.

Just watched Predator, with Governor Arnold, again. Oldie but goodie.

Boy, I havent gone to the movie theater in ages, it is full of loud, obnoxious teenagers that refuse to turn off their cell phones and enjoy chatting away during the most important part of the movie. I think the last movie I saw was Cold Mountain on cable but the last movie I went to see at the movie threater I believe was Ocean's Twelve...

That's okay - you're forgiven!

Movies:
"Y Tu Mama Tambien" - In Spanish w/English subtitles.
Great coming of age story about 2 Mexican teenaged boys and their road trip adventures with an older woman. Directed by Alfonso Cuaron - who also directed Prisoner of Azkaban

"Around the Bend"
Great independent film with a wonderful cast (Michael Caine, Christopher Walken, Josh Lucas and Jonah Bobo). Four generations of the Lair family men on a trek to New Mexico and to understanding each other. Very funny and poignant. Another good road trip film.

Has anyone seen her in:
Dieu est grand, je suis toute petite (God Is Great, I'm Not)

I saw it on the shelf, but haven't rented it yet. Curious about it though.

Has anyone seen "Downfall"? I just read a review over lunch, and it looks fantastic, although very heavy.

I'm looking forward to seeing "9 Songs" - it's been causing a bit of heated debate here in Ireland, but the film censor has given it the go-ahead.
