Saw "Hostage" over the weekend. Save your money! Save your sanity! Half-way through the movie my b/f turned to me and said "This movie's a load of shite!". WHat an understatement!

From part of a movie review:

"When he’s not screaming like a banshee, the young son of Pollak’s character has a phone conversation with Talley (Bruce Willis). Holding back tears, Willis actually delivers the soon to be immortal line “Yeah, Tommy, Captain Wubba’s gonna save Planet Xenon.” Now, that sounds like a movie."

Watched "The Incredibles" on Friday - excellent w/many an homage spread throughout!

Watched "Alfie" on Saturday - better than expected and, being a remake of a Michael Caine movie, held colse to the original. Jude Law also resembled a young Caine in particular places.

Watched "The Italian Job" (the remake) (again) on Sunday. Another one that we thought was well done and the updating didn't alter from the original by much. (Favorite line by Donald Sutherland: "It trust everybody. It's the devil inside them I don't trust.")

Watched my favourite movie of all time again last night - The Deer Hunter. I never get sick of it. Christopher Walken and Robert de Niro's finest hours respectively!

I had to sit through Team America at work last night.

Not sure if it's the worst movie ever, but it was so bad i did actually find it quite funny if that makes sense to anyone.
