...Much to Captain Isa's liking, the GPS thingy is working very well. The pirate ship left port a few days ago and the thingy has navigated their way to the next destination without too many hiccups. Okay, it sent them halfway to the North Pole first, but they are finally back on track. "Captain, it appears that we're heading for Udon Thani Province in Thailand. I don't think we can sail all the way." "Not a problem, Matey. They have these really cool things called trains." But Captain..." "No buts about it - get us on a train and quickly!" With that the crew member reserves for the entire dining/bar car. The thought - who needs sleep when you have food and rum!
The pirate ship slowly sails into pier at Payatta. Once docked, the crew rushes to the local train station to find their way to Muang Udon Thani. "Captain, it seems we don't have reservations." "What do you mean no reservations? We called ahead." "Well, our reservations are from Bangkok to Muang Udon Thani." Immediately, the crew flag down yet another bus in yet another country to get to Bangkok for the train...
Thankfully, the timing was perfect and the pirates have arrived mostly intact - minus one or two who couldn't find their passports. They will be rescued soon. As the crew disembark the train, they do their thing that they do every time there is a birthday...
(*Patchanon, I have no idea what I just copied and pasted from the Carabao website. I hope it isn't something totally obscene...)
HAPPY BIRTHDAY PATCHANON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Here's hoping you have a wonderful day (February 21st) filled with friends, family, your fiance and lots of rum!!! Rum is important for these celebrations. Ask any pirate.
As the crew try to figure out what it is that they are singing, Captain Isa uses her super special contact in the hotel business to make reservations for the weekend...
