Hi Gail. I've had a great weekend thanks. Spent yesterday shopping and looking at holdalls on wheels for the big adventure, then went for lunch with my friend today and spent hours talking about oz ha. Think i bored her senseless! Went to buy one of the holdalls i saw yesterday but it had gone, not happy. I've been working my finances out too, looking for ways to save cash. There's a big exhibition on at the royal armouries in leeds next weekend called 'Down Under Live!' with everything you could possibly need to know about going to australia so i'm trying to get either sat or sun off work to go. Get yourself there, there'll be so much useful info, and the next one isnt til end sept when we'll already be down under!!!

Thanks for that, but it was in debenhams so they're going to be getting some more in anyway. I didn't realise you needed a ticket for the oz thing. Was just going to turn up. Do you think that's ok? I'll let you know if i can go and we'll meet for a coffee xx

Yeah i bought the tickets a few months ago, they cost £10 each, or you can buy them on the door for £15.
To get a ticket you can do it online on the down under live website.
Defo try and get the day off, it would be great to finally meet you and have a good gossip, without feeling like your boring the pants off your mates lol.
Ive been out and bought some new sandals for the trip, i was wearing them round the house today, and was thinking it wont be long before they are treading the tiles in oz woohoo xx

I'll be gutted if i can't go, it sounds great, really useful info etc. I'm going to get some sleep but i'll get back to you in the week to let you know if i can make it. Wear those sandals in girl, you don't want blisters on bondi beach ha ha! Speak soon, Lou x

Hi Lou

Have you had any luck getting one of the days off at the weekend, still got my fingers crossed for you!!!
If you are able to get the day off, and you were thinking of coming on your own, then my mum says that you can buy her ticket and we can go together if you wish, we can then spend the time looking at all the stands and finding out as much info as poss. ( and maybe get some freebies ) lol xx
