. minimalist interiors, those indutrial looking spaces, very zen.

. a lounge area where you can meet other travellers.

i am travelling again next week.

I would look for the above points too. Also it's important that somewhere is clean, reasonably quiet and secure especially if I am travelling alone.

and I forgot, this is very important: SAFETY DEPOSIT, for my passport. a locker for a small backpack is a bonus.
The hostels I stayed in Beijing have the best lockers, coz it needs to 2 keys to be opened.
