Well, i cant comment on the hair straightener thing cos my hair is straight, but that doesnt mean i dont worry about what to do with my hair too. Basically, what im gonna do is work out a few 'up 'hair styles that look good before i go and take a cap to cover up on greasy days.
Make-up wise im taking moisturiser, bronzer and mascara...a few basic essentials and anything you might need for a nice occassion could be picked up on the way e.g. a bit of lippy....then when it melts just chuck it!!

Good luck

If your worried about hair, either chop it all off/very short or wear a cap so no one realises it's messed up

Ive got my straightners and hairdryer with me, as no way could i go without my straightners lol. What james has said true as i've seen it when i was out. I've no pulled James lol (reckon the old age factor is reason, lol)Then again ive no been out flashing me bits lol.
I reckon it's all down to how conmfortable you feel yourself in how your looking without your luxuiries.

A smile on your face and a twinkle in your eye looks pretty good in any situation.

If you can accept a serious bit of info from a physiotherapist, take a supply of Aloe Vera gel with no addatives in your pack, good for an amazing range of things like cooling the skin if you get too much sun, prickly heat rash and generally as a moisturising skin protection.
You might also find it growing naturally in many places and you can use it direct from the plant, strip off one leave, split it open and either use the back of a knife or fingernails to scrape out the gel, and apply it anywhere.
Clothes that don't wrinkle too much will keep better rolled in your back pack and hung out over night before you wear them.
Fresh socks and some foot powder might be worthwhile, you are on your feet a lot all day.Treat them to a good wash at night.
The happy smile will come from feeling good.
Enjoy you trip, and Happy Christmas.

Hi Liz

I go camping heaps so i always used to wonder this myself... some things i do is wear my hair in plaits - everyone thinks you look cute but it is really pratical (no hair in face etc). As for make up i only wear lip conditioner (stops drys lips and makes them look glossy) and eye liner if im trying to look good. I have clear skin so i dont need to worry about any other make up but if you dont maybe try a concealer that doubles as a moisturiser and sunscreen so you save time.
Hope this helps
