Hi everyone,

Looking for some advice. Heading on a RTW trip at the end of Feb (Thailand, Cambodia, Singapore, OZ, Chile, Peru, Bolivia, Brazil) and was wondering what the best music system to take is?

Taking CDs seems too heavy, but MP3 players or ipods (which can store you're whole music system) need to be recharged.

Whats the solution??? I love my music alot and couldnt contemplate leaving 'musicless.' Is there likely to be access to power to recharge MP3 players in places like Cambodia and Bolivia?

Any advice would be much appreciated

I think the trick is to pick the player with the longest battery life. I read a comparative report in one of the papers n the UK the other day, and I think it was the Sony one that had a 30 hour battery life.

You should be all right in Cambodia, as long as you take the right adaptor.

I don't know about Bolivia as I've never been there, but I would imagine most places will have a suitable power supply. Certainly in most places in Ecuador I stayed (some years ago), the rooms had some form of power supply.

Good luck, I envy you your trip.
