Hi,

Ill hopefully be travelling to Boliva and taking a spanish course in the summer, and id also like to do some volunteer work. I'm not prepared to spend thousands on a commercial trip, and was wondering if anyone knew of any NGO's that needed volunteers for a short amount fo time, doing anything really. Also I heard it was possible to just turn up and sort it all out there as there are so many NGO's working....

any thoughts?

Thanks very much =)

Yeah I know loads of NGO´s in need of help, since all my friends here are working in one or another. Maybe if you let me know a bit more about what you´re interested in and what city, I could give you some contact numbers/ addresses.

CUSCO is nearby, most people who visit Bolivia also pop across the border to visit the most popular city in the region. While you are there look up these people, they help very very poor children, and they are a real charity (not a travel company in disguise) - snip -
