Hi guys! Ideally I would like to fly out the last week in september if this suits anybody else!
I have been looking at ozintro website today and I think that is definitely what I am going to do.
I know you were saying Rachel that you hadn't found anyone to go with yet, but if you wanted we could both look at some dates at the end of september and go with ozintro.
I have read some of the reviews and they can put you in touch with other people flying out on the same date before you go also. Let me know if you would be up for maybe changing your dates slightly!

hi Michelle
have you been on the fb fan page for ozintro - it looks like Sept is getting booked up fast - i dont really want to go later than Aug because i really dont want to stay in my job any longer than i need to!!
however if you dont want to come out earlier it would still be great to meet up and see where are plans take us.
im on fb to and a member of that page, - rachel bateman

Hi all! It's really good to read all your comments as i've been thinking about doing this for some time and think I have finally decided to bite the bullet and do it alone (aged 26 - almost 27!) I've been reading up about Oz Intro and Real Gap and will probably do one of their introductory weeks to get me started in Sydney, but really want to see as much of the country as I can before May 2011 when I have to come back to the UK - if I can get my arse in gear sooner I would go in August otherwise it will be September. Can I ask how many others are planning on doing something similar to Oz Intro/Real Gap? It would be reassuring to know there are other girls in a similar situation to me! Thanks Zoe

Hi,

I'm heading out to Oz in September, my plan so far is to start out in Sydney then head up the east coast from there (although I can be flexible with this). I really dont fancy doing this on my own so it'd be great to meet another traveler like myself! If you fancy meeting up then drop me a line,

Ben.

Hi,

I've considered doing Oz Intro for quite a while and it definitely looks like the best option for someone traveling alone. I'm looking at flying out to Sydney on the 15th of September then doing Oz intro on the 20th, I think there's still spaces available for this date too. Gonna get it booked in the next couple of weeks! I'm on facebook - Ben Taylor.

thanks for the tip on ozintro, planning aus myself so looks really handy! i travelled north america alone and thought before i went i would never be able to do it, but u meet so many good people, infact its easier to meet people alone because your not in a group with friends all closed off from others + your all of the same mind set that your just there to experience new things and have a good time! so dont worry about being alone if the time comes, because before u know it u will be in a hostel bar getting drunk making lots of new friends!
