Never, because I know what is done with them.
I would consider individual 'parts' but never 'body for study'....

There a place in Cologne, Germany where you can actually watch a full autopsy being performed (people donate their bodies for this very purpose). I wouldnt consider it science but is done for the morbid on-lookers visiting Cologne...I didnt go.

what's the difference whether it's an organ or the whole body?

I think Josette's been to an anatomy lab. Several groups of students will work with the same cadaver so pulling jokes on one another (using the body as a prop) can be great fun and not as uncommon as one might think. Granted I'll be dead, so what the hell...

Personally, I chose organ donation instead - that is, if I haven't worn everything out by then.

they are learning essential usuful skills - to cope with the stress some of them might behave unproprietly.

Nothing to blame them for or be offended. Myself I wouldn't have guts to cut the body even of an animal.

Myself I have donated my body - the form is given to every new GP client in the UK.
