I use to tell everything to close friends, until I realized that I wasn't as close to that a particular friend as she was to me... The best friends that I have have been living far from me for years, and each time we have something important to share, we are as close as the last time we talked to each other. That's friendship.

As for sharing everything, no sorry, not all relationships are the same... My husband is the one who has to know everything about me.

My friend decided to share a little too much information. Let's call it an "indiscretion". It took almost two years for the court cases to finish. He lost his security status level with the government, and he worked an extra part-time job for a year or so to pay off the fines. He is now much careful about what he says, and to whom.

Hurts to learn things the hard way.....funny, that's how I lost my job with the government. But like I said due to recent events (last 3 years) I have learned to live my life in a way that there is nothing I can be embarrassed about or ashamed of....too bad we can't learn from others...it would save a lot of grief in this world...

I am not one to tell all to one person. I have few close close friends that I talk to all the time of course but what I tell them also has a lot to do with their personalities. It is based on who would tend to not "pass on" information to others, who is most discrete, who is the least judgemental, who can give the best advice but even still I dont share it all with any of them. Some love the gossip and I dont want part of it. Sometimes healthy gossip is ok but there are those that thrive on talking about other people (those are my friends with too much time on their hands).

You could say I have specific friends for specific scenarios and I dont even share too much information with a single one. I am pretty private about my life...you could never tell that based on my postings in TP

I have ONE question for you...would you tell me if these pants make my ass look fat?

That is the ONE MILLION DOLLAR QUESTION!! Hahaha, no matter what my husband says, I still tell him he is lying. If he says no, I say, "no, you are lying, I look fat, come on, dont I look fat? I feel fat...". If he says yes, I say, "you are soooo mean, how can you be so mean? I know you arent so I think you are lying..."
