Hi,

im a 20 year old male who is having a year out traveling (now until next oct). mainly i would like to have an awesome experience and lots of fun, while absorbing the culture. so i have no specific destination or duration, although south east asia sounds ideal (thailand, yeh). obviously it would be much more fun with others, so anybody in a similar situation, gap year or something, i would like to get in touch with...

19.12.2004 Sydney first ....

Hi ,

Must see in Oz ???

Definitely Sydney first !!! There's Kings Cross and Bondi Beach

You can catch a train up the east coast of New South Wales from Sydney. Stop off at Nambucca Heads and Byron Bay.

Into Queensland ... the Gold Coast for its beaches, also The Sunshine Coast (Noosa Heads): north of Brisbane. Townsville & Cairns for The Great Barrier Reef.

[b]apart from "sezchwarn" you are all soooooooo wrong!lol...europes right on your doorstep people!!! COME ON...WAKE UP AND SMELL THE CULTURE

firstly oz HAS NO culture...I know I was there for 6 months, its such an easy option for travelers that its border-line boooorrrring.

europe has so much history and culture in such a small place, you could virtually walk round! how can you think of going anywhere else with out knowing about your own area of the world!

do australia and your'll waste your money, do south america and your'll be biten to death ....INSTEAd come round europe with me in my van!!!!!!!!!!!!!
