Same Day Working Holiday Visa?

Travel Forums Australia / New Zealand & The Pacific Same Day Working Holiday Visa?

Hi guys,

I am planning on doing a working holiday very shortly, and am obviously looking for a visa.

I was told by my brother in law who lives out there, that you can get a same day visa from Australia House in London.

Does this sound right?

I would have thought more would need to be done, but he's adamant that they can provide that service.

Thanks for your time.

I got mines recently through the Australian Government website. It took literally 15 minutes for me to fill out the form and for it to be approved!

Hi mate, thanks for reply.

Did it take long to come through the post?

I had mines emailed to me straight away. I wasn't aware you got a hard copy through the post. If you do, It has been 3 business days since I ordered mines and still no post!

You don't get a hard copy through the post. It's all registered electronically against your passport number, so the immigration officer will just pull up all your data when you arrive in Australia. Too easy!

No need to even leave your house :)

Me and a few friends got ours through within an hour after applying, one guy waited like 6 hours.. Maybe they were busy, maybe he was a small time criminal. :)
