Im heading out to oz on my 2nd whv at the end of the month, when i did my first year over there i was mainly on the east coast and down south so this time i want to see as much of the west as possible aswell as Darwin and the centre.
Does anyone know how easy it is for backpackers to get work in WA or Darwin - as ill be looking for work in June or July id rather be around between Exmouth area and Darwin so that it wont be too humid.
Any tips would be great thanks x
What kind of work are you after? When I was over that way there were roadhouses looking for attendants and cooks/waitresses so you'll probably be able to find that kind of work in both the NT and WA. If you're looking for hostel type work you might need to be somewhere closer to the tourist trail like Darwin, Katherine or Kununurra.
I imagine there would be lots of hospitality type jobs in Broome around that time of year, in all the resorts and restaurants given its their peak tourist season.
