I am a big fan of Germans... witty, sarcastic, nice accent, great sense of humor, brutally honest, and cool.

But I just realize that I met atleast 3 Dutch travellers who were more fun to hang out with. The amazing thing is that they do have very similar attitude and personality. And I love the accent, which is practically American... its so nuetral with tinge of something foreign.

I aslo like Swedish travellers...

dont ask me who I dont like...

I actually find Dutch and German travellers quite different in so many ways.
Dutch accent - American? Are you serious?

Considering how much of the foreign TV is subtitled and not dubbed in The Netherlands it does mean that in general most Dutch have very good english but a lot of them do take on an American 'ish' accent from listening to it so much.

Well, some have a very cute, distinctly Dutch accent.... the others are practically American in a very cool way. But some American, who see all Europeans as French can't percieve the obvious. Its psychological, just because they are ESL, people don't realize that they dont just sound American, they sound like Hollywood. Some Europeans speak better English than those that hail from England.

I met so many Dutch travellers last night... But my dutch drinking buddy for 2 weeks is leaving today.

I also like the germans. Down to earth and unpretentious. And the few russians i've met have been awesome.
