Hi guys,
I have a return ticket from London to Bangkok for the 27th June til 7th of July. It looks like the airline (EVA AIR) would not give refund as BKK airport is still working so far. I am really undecided I dont know whether I should still travel to Thailand having heard about the situation in there. I thought I may book a cheap flight from BKK to Phuket and stay in Phi Phi Islands the whole time and then fly back to BKK and off again to London. Does anyone know the situation in the South? is it safe to go to Phuket and PHi PHi?
Please guys let me know if you know something!! thanks!!

At this point in time, except for some localized damage, no one would know anything has happened.

Although there is a chance that some militant pinheads could make some trouble, there isn't a mass violent following.

Check the FCO website for the up to date legal stance. Although they do seem to blow things out of proportion a bit. Travel to Thailand is perfectly safe and you would be very unlucky to stumble across or get mixed up in any political violence
