nature in my heart forever and ever.
a nomad from morocco.
my job is kinda boring, kinda cool. I work for Ticketek, which is a ticketing agency, we do tickets for most major events in New Zealand - concerts, musicals, sporting events (incl rugby - yay!!!!), opera, ballet etc etc.......... It's definately opened my eyes to a lot of things i never thought could, would or should interest me - such as the ballet... and i get to meet a LOT of travellers, which is always interesting......
it isn't the worlds greatest job, but I don't dread going every day....
I work as a music teacher in 2 private music schools... 5 days a week (I need 2 days off!) I like teaching a lot, I find it very rewarding to see the progress from a week to another!! (exept when the student doesn't listen to me, doesn't practice, and wonders why he/she is not making progress! ).
What else? Oh, yeah, I teach singing (that was my major in university), piano and music history (I'm still learning while teaching , that's lots of fun! )
I`m currently in a consulting company providing market intelligence and channel management service for some big international IT companies. My work is to do with the IT market in 100 cities in China, so sometimes I`m like a coordinator. I don`t have other holidays beside legal ones. And it`s common to work overtime.Compared with my first job in Xinhua new agency, the official news center and government agency in China, my current one is much harder.I know little and care for not much in IT field. Hope I can cast it off soon.
Your sounds rather demanding, Zhou
I'm an optical engineer for a large cable company working in a network management centre. I work (12 hour shifts) 4 days on, 4 off, 4 nights on, 4 off and then back to 4 days again etc. I also get to take off 24 shifts of those as holiday. That is why i get the time to go away for a month 2 times a year, plus sneak in little trips to Europe if i can ever find someone to go with, which is very difficult to do. It's a great job for time off, plus i can do overtime in my 4 days off to build up my holiday fund!!!!!!!!
