Gaelic and Hurling

Gaelic is in rough words a cross between soccor and rugby....... Hurling is a stick and ball game, can be very rough, fast and furious.......... both games are national games and can have a great atmosphere either from playing or supporting, though there is rival teams the supporters in general all get along quite well, the players are not paid to play, they do so generally for the love of the game....

Hockey - although with the strike on this year, it may well turn into something else.

Hurling has been described as 'a cross between hockey and murder'.

Great sport, and its true about the fans at matches, there is no segregation of rival fans because there is never any trouble.
