For everybody traveling in June to Guadalajara or surrounding area come and visit Tlaquepaque.
Every year they celebrate San Pedro with all kinds of activities during the whole month of June. Tlaquepaque is a part of Guadalajara and you can take a bus from the center of GDL (Bus 275, 647, TUR) that takes you directly to the center of TLQ or take a taxi that will cost you around 70 pesos.

Last year the had 14 different bands that performed live, folkloric dancing, dogs shows, clown shows for kids, horse parade chareadas. You can find the program from last year on the following website. The program for this year will be there soon I guess.

For futher information about Tlaquepaque you can have a look on the following website as well.

Muchas gracias. An amigo just returned last weekend from Guad, Tlaq and Tonala. I could not go with him. He flew RT from PV, pretty darn cheap, some off-brand company. But now you got me excited abput going in June. Is Thursday still a big market day or is that been changed? He stayed near Guad's market and he said it was open daily. Love this info!

Hi Gary,

Market day in Tonala is still on Thursday and as well on Sunday. Mercado de Libertad or San Juan de Dios is open every day. For other activities you can have a look on our website. Here you can find a list of things you can do. Most of them you can do on your own and some of them are for free as well.

If you have any other questions just let me know.
