Hi there,

let me first explain what's going on...

I'm a brazilian guy going to europe with some friends for backpacking... We are looking for parties from 18 of december 2010 to January 6 of 2011. We want to know the best cities to go to party, drink and meet girls... can anybody help??

thanks. :)

Have you any preference as to which part of Europe? It's a big place.

I spent a week in December exploring Italy one year and it was really the perfect time to be there. Not only were the crowds minimal but everything was festivally kitted out for the holidays (especially those christmas markets you mentioned). It was chilly but well worth it to beat the swarming summer hordes

Hey Guys..

Europe is filled with nightlife parties and girls.. You can enjoy but in your limits. Some most visited places by young travelers are :
Amsterdam, Riga, Rome, Prague, and Copenhagen.

Skip that tourist junk, go to the Baltics. it will be cold but well worth it.

Or try the Balkans...turkey/bulgaria/romania

We are thinking about madrid, barcelona, prague, amsterdam and berlin... we want two more cities to go. Is moscow freezing that time of the year? what about london and dublin?

Moscow will be freezing. It is the coldest city in all of Europe. So if you have never been cold before and do not have any decent cold weather clothing I suggest you avoid Moscow.

I have been to Moscow in December, I knew what to expect but it was still freaking cold. London and Dublin would be better choice weather-wise, they are warmer because they are close to the Atlantic and the Gulf Stream. When it is -25 C in Moscow it will be around 0 C in Dublin.

ah cmon, warm coat, bottle of vodka, snowboots and russian phrasebook. go for it. Moscow would be great! dont letthe cold put you off. Dublin and London will be rainy anyway. Id rather cold and dry than wet and damp.
