I really need railways maps!

Travel Forums Europe I really need railways maps!

Hi, this is my first post - I'm planning to go round Europe on the Interrail ticket as soon as I can!

I'm having real trouble getting railways maps for various countries.

In particular:

Poland, Czech Rep, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Turkey, Croatia, Slovenia, Morocco, and all the former Yugoslavina states.

The only really useful site I've found is this - http://www.alleuroperail.com/europe-map-railways.htm - but for maps, otherwise, I can't find the ones I listed.

If anybody has rail maps for these countries, I'd very much appreciate it if you could post links, or email them to me: -snip-

Thanks in advance, and Merry Christmas.

[ Edit: Sorry, no email addresses please... ]

Best bet is to get hold of the Thomas Cook Rail map of Europe, as it's the most upto date and whilst not including every possible line, it covers everything your likely to want and much more. Supplement that with their European timetable (maps of Each country to go with the timetables) and you've got everything you need. Be aware that just because there is a line between two places, or it looks straight forward on the map, doesn't mean there are any helpful (or at all) services between them, especially for international journeys. Hence using the timetable (or the German rail/DB web TT site)as an accompanyment.

I've met any number of (mainly non Europeans) who planned using a map, and then came to Europe to discover that all their plans were useless because simple routes on the maps they've used, only run once a week, or take 24 hours instead of 4....
