Hi im travelling in aug for 4 months, oz,nz,fiji, hawaii and usa. i was wondering if anyone had this back pack and had any thoughts http://www.blacks.co.uk/rucksacks/rucksacks/product/101963.html

also is it worth getting a day pack, if so do i just put it in my back pack and use it when needed or have one that connects to my back pack?

I have no idea what to do about footwear, there will be a fair bit of walking, but we also want to go out a few times at night for drinks etc, but dont want to be carry many pairs of footwear around.

Seems a tad heavy at 2.2kgs - and that's the company spec, so could weigh more. Just a thought.

What about these 2 for me and my girlfriend. We tried the freeflow and quite like how its slighlt away from your back to stop you sweating.
