Travel Forums Central/South America & The Caribbean Where to go in Central or South America in June

We get married 10 June next year and would like our honeymoon to be a bit more than just lying by the pool. I have always wanted to go to Central and South America so would like any advice you can give us.

We will be flying from ireland in mid June. We will probably have about 3 weeks to see and do what we can, although we don't want to cram it as much as we would normally.

So we want know what are the must see and do bits ? We will want a few luxurious nights somewhere along the way, some beach time and occasionally some nightlife but also a bit of something special that you wont get everywhere you go. Unfortunately we don't have an endless budget either. Does anyone have any suggested itineraries considering weather at that time of year??. Your help will be greatly appreciated.

you definitly have to come to Peru and see some places in Peru. Such as Arequipa and Cusco. These are the nicest cities in Peru. And really colonial and romantic.
so you can check out:
And for nightlife I can recommend you Buneos Aires. you will never get bored or anything like that. And not only for nightlife Buenos Aires is nice.
So these are my favourites.
Have a nice wedding and a great honeymoon!!!!

Hi Chrissi, thanks for this. What is the westher like in those locations in June? is it possible to do both in 3 weeks? are there any nice beaches along the way or would you recommend a particular route?

We are open to suggestions at this stage.

Thanks again
