I'll probably be working a crappy menial job to save money for school and for my south america trip. I hope it's less crappy and menial than this year was.

Travelling to the US? No. Unless you count a day trip or two to Seattle and Burlington for Krispy Kremes and outlet mall shopping.

For my southern Ozstralian summer I'll be spending january 2005 snorkelling the Indian Ocean reefs at the bottom of my street, followed by 4 months dragging a backpack through Rio (Carnaval), Buenos Aires, Santiago, Atacama desert, Machu Picchu, Leticia in the depths of the Amazon, Cuba (gotta see a 3 hour Marxist dialectic crock speech by my old mate Fid!!!), check out Yucatan, veg down the Keys, drink lots of bourbon in Bourbon Street, visit relatives in Kentucky, walk Pickett's Charge at Gettysburg and personally thank Abe for one of humanity's greatest speeches, check out the Guggenhiem, cruise the Prado in Madrid, this time just sit for a few hours in the Roman Forum and not rush one of the most important crucibles of my cultural identity, spend a whole day in the Vatican, get rat-arsed in Patpong Road Bangkok and finally get home to an absolute shambles.
Work by day, clean by night and meet my wife in Bali in September on her way home from Kentucky.
Then it's back to the Lonely Planet books.
Haven't done Japan for 20 years, South Korea sounds interesting and I'll be bored with computer programming so so fast!!!!

Traveling to Switzerland, eastern France, and northern Italy (Bellagio and Venice) for a couple of weeks--and working the rest of the time.

Am planning to do a long (or a couple of short ones) road trip through the northern USA. May be new york to San francisco. I've been to places in south, west and east but never the midwest and the nort,so probably that.

may be canada

otherwise just glue my self to seat and work!

Tentatively, it looks like Nova Scotia in the spring and then probably N. Ireland in the fall. Wait! That means I'm not going anywhere in the summer!
