Since I've been away to the US in the birthday month, I missed quite a few so here it goes:

A happy belated birthday to Beerman, James, Tway, Sam, Gecko, Bex, Q, Mikeyboab, Garry Moll and Purdy!!!

I am sure I had beers (no, not budweiser!!!) or Californian wine on all of those days!;)
Cheers,
Michael

Phew!!!! You had me scrambling for the birthday list, thinking I had missed yours. Then the light bulb came on and said "No, Michael is earlier in the year." "So right, Mr. Lightbulb!! Now I'll read the thread to see what it says."

Ahhh, I can relax and not feel guilty. At least not for this!

Thanks Michael.....it was a good day. Everyday is a good day. The day is what we make of it. Unless you're constipated....

Talking to imaginary friends are we, Isa !?!!?

Thanks for the birthday greetings !! A beer would be nice about now.
Coors light isn't a bad beer. I can't say I've ever had a Bud now that I think about it. At least not the American one. Sam Adams is a nice one. There's one in Kansas called Fat Tire, that I've been told is nice.

In terms of wine, my new discovery recently was Two Oceans from south africa. Cheers...I drink too much !

If you spell Two Oceans with capitals and South Africa not, than yes, you drink too much
But good to hear you like Sam Adams! Was my favorite actually, with a slightly bitter touch. Still curious about Beerman's thought about that beer. Isa would ask Beerman, but she didn't...now she can feel guilty about something;)

Bullshit. I asked him and he didn't reply at the time. So, now you are going to get his answer. Not my fault. I did pose the original question. Also, Q - CYA on the Coors Light comment.

Considering we're actually traveling tomorrow and the Beerman has had the brewery owners in this week (taking up all of his time), he's been a bit busy. Please give him a pass on this one. It's my fault since it's my trip and he gets to come along. He's needed to "clear the decks".

Q - yes, I do talk to imaginary friends. Sometimes I thing you're one of them. So there!

Aw, thanks Michael; you remembered!! :)

And good to hear you like my beer too... they swapped the D and the A as you probably noticed, but I gave them a pass on that as these Dutch names can be hard to spell you know

Speaking of budweiser, it's the only beer they are allowed to serve at the stadions in South Africa during the World Cup. All the South Africans are very sad. And apparently what they are charging is quite a bit more than normal as well, but for Europeans it's still pretty cheap.
