Has anyone had the opportunity to see the results of the newly invented (well, not quite so new now), 'HD' DSLR's yet?
The clarity and resolution makes the DSLR's from a couple of years ago, look rather antiquated already.
Pity those who spent £1,000+ a year ago - on the 'Very latest' technology. It's becoming ancient already.

nomadSteve:

went with the canon S90. Hands on control won me over in the end. Certainly nicer carrying that than lugging around the DSLR

Hi nomadSteve, I'd love to hear how you are finding the S90.

I had a good play around with it last month and I have to be honest that it blew me away. I thought the front ring control would be a bit of a gimmick, but found it very efficient to use. Using the dial on the back also made changes very very quick which was always one of my biggest gripes with compacts. It's pretty incredible what they have managed to squeeze into such a small camera...

Barry.
