Hi everyone,
Just wondered if anyone had an opinion on the best site to use for online photo storage??
Thanks

Depends on what you want out of it, I guess. Do you have a clear idea of your requirements / wishes?

FWIW, I think what you get here at travellerspoint (unlimited photos at web resolutions, 100MB of storage for original size photos (increasing to 1GB or even 5GB as you become more active on the site)) is pretty nice.

Further to Sander's suggestion, Flickr is also a good site for storing photos - for US$25 per year they allow unlimited storage without reducing the size of the photos.

And one advantage of Flickr is that we have a pretty neat integration for it in our blogs too. All your photos from Flickr show up exactly the same way as the Travellerspoint ones do when you are inserting photos into a post once you've added your Flickr username there once.

Here's a side question; would you use it if we also made our photo uploads have unlimited backups in full resolution for 25USD a year? There's been a few members asking me for more space and willing to pay for it, so kind of curious what others think....

That's cool - I didn't know that Sam!

I think it could be popular. I would certainly have chosen TP over Flickr had this been available when I was backing up all my photos last year; Flickr is fine but as I'm on TP more it would make sense for my photos to be here too! 25USD a year is a small price to pay for peace of mind.

Sounds perfect!!! Will def use Flickr... unless TP set up the $25 storage before I head off in October :-) I agree, will be nice to go to one Point for my blog and for my photo storage

Thanks All
