(Maybe I should post a thread "Festivals and Other Gems of the Midwest", listing what is fun to do up here and when.)

Yay, midwest! I love the midwest, actually - Chicago, St. Louis, Omaha (even, a stretch to call mid-west, but Denver). There is something about the air in midwestern cities. It's so clean.

Be sure to include my fun things to do in Omaha thread in your "Other Gems of the Midwest" post.

Guess I'll be posting that thread... And, I'll include your link, Greg.

(It's not so much "clean" air, Greg - it just smells different...)

I want my title to be "Empress of the Ethernet" - until I change my mind.

(Joz - people pee - puppies piddle - I have some newspaper left, need more?)

Empress of the Ethernet, I must humbley say it is just my opinion that puppies have no control...so it is piddle...normally people pee...UNLESS it is against their control...then it is a boo boo, accidnet, or piddle....;)

Been looking up the links for many of the summer things to do up here - most don't have their dates posted for 2005 yet. Will get the list together as they come up. Did post an interesting site "Roadside America" which lists all the quirky things to see and do for the US and Canada. Omaha is listed. I'm going to compare yours to theirs- -they may match!
