I have flown with both Ryanair, without any extras (priority seating, fast boarding etc) and Singapore Airlines 1st class on their A-380. Imagine the difference. Oh and the price too. Then again, I wonder how much S.A. would charge for a flight from Manchester - Dublin and how much R.A. would charge from the UK to Singapore. Mad isnt it.
I go with what DulSaSeans says - I'd give it a shot as well just for the experience, if nothing else
Incidentally, I still prefer the upstairs on a 747 to the A-380.

It was said that you could get away with paying half price. If it's paying £5 instead of £10, you'd have to be on a tight budget to travel this way. But O'Leary's cheap fares go right up at certain times of the year, like now and if it was £50 instead of £100, he might find many takers since most journeys are just a few hours.

How will the stewardesses stop people sneaking into seats if the flight is not full?

People moan about O'Leary but no one is forced to use Ryanair. For where I live, it's a life saver.

I'm not sure I remember. Just ignore it.

I use Ryanair quite a lot and honestly, you get what it says on the tin (literally ! !).
I like the gimmicks and especially the prices, generally.
A flight from the UK to Southern Spain for under £20?
Unheard of 40 years ago.
But I do so often wonder with Ryanair - what announcement is coming next.

This is old news. This idea was already published last year, but they will not get permission from the European safety board and Boeing is also refusing to build the airplanes this way. So it still is nothing more than an idea.
