Where to live in Yorkshire?

Travel Forums Europe Where to live in Yorkshire?

Hiya,

I've watched alot of Emmerdale here and love the feel of it, living in a small community in Yorkshire. So I'm thinking about moving there once I've graduated college next year.
Anyway, I was wondering wherther you could reccomend some nice towns/villages in Yorkshire :). What about Harrogate for example?

Thanks :)

Harrogate is nice, yes.
I prefer the likes of Beverley and Selby though.
For the real rural feeling - try looking into places like Pickering, Reeth and Richmond.
A beautiful village up in the Yorkshire Dales is Rosedale Abbey.
Then again - there'll be plenty more suggestions on their way.
