I'm planning to go to ireland in august/september. we decided not to book any accomodation in advance. we don't want to be bounded to hotels we booked.

our idea is to book hostels/b&bs via internet during our trip (maybe 1 or 2 days in advance). but I'm worried that we will not have internet access in rural areas (cities should not be the problem).

would be great if someone made already experience in this case and could let me know if our plans will work or if it would be better to book at least some of the rooms in advance.

thanks a lot for your help!

Last time I was in the UK I bought a Vodafone internet USB stick that was prepaid. I think it was around 49gbp.
This worked in all the areas I was in, but those were not as rural as Ireland's countryside. I'll find out again as I'm planning on going to Ireland in August!
