I celebrate my 30th in November and i want to do something/go somewhere i havent been before so i can say i did something for my 30th, something new and exciting.
I really want to drive some of Route 66 but this might not be an option because of cost to me and my girlfriend.
So i thought i'd try to come up with a plan b that involved somewhere in Europe (Im from the UK).
So im looking for idea's from you guys on a location, with things to do (Plenty of things to do because i get bored easily) somewhere that isn't really manic, ideally a long weekend, 4-5-6 days.
I've been to Germany and France (Although not all parts) and a few places in Spain and Portugal and Italy but not alot else.
Any thoughts, ideas, suggestions etc gratefully received.
Why not take a road trip through Europe?, or at least parts of it. There is tons you can do with a car and you won't get bored. Stop off in places that you've never been, Holland, Belgium.
I've never been to Scandinavia but November is a snowy month for them, The Christmas rates won't be up yet so you'll get to get a wintry feel without really high prices!
It really depends on what you want to do with your holiday, adventure holidays? City holidays? Road trip holidays?
You have tons of options
Hey Grawr, thanks for the reply.
I do like the idea of Scandinavia, might look into that abit more.
And a Euro road trip could work, although i dont want to spend too long driving if i can help (I know i would be down route 66 but this is plan b)
I'd like a holiday that involves abit of everything really, some relaxing, some adventure, some historic sights, some new age sights, the lot really.
Ideally not to expensive but roughly 5 days of high enjoyment and difference.
If you come on nowember you cant have beach and sun stuff.
So if I were I would choose among, Prag, Budapest, Athens, Istanbul, St Petersburg and Wien surely.
