yeah its possible, though pakistan is quite dangerous
if you have any interest in central asia how about turkey-iran-turkmenistan-uzebekistan-kazakhstan-kyrgyzstan-china
im travelling this route by land from october later this year

You can travel from Moscow in Russia to Beijing in China in six days by train. The line is called the Trans-Siberian. There is no such thing as a Trans-Siberian Express but there are a range of trains to make this journey. Each week two direct passenger trains link Moscow with Beijing. They cover about 5,000 miles and provide a bed for six nights.
