I have finally narrowed down the dates at which I can get away and now need a little help plotting my route.
I would like as big an experience within the 3 weeks as possible and was thinking of flying into bankok, spending a week or so in the north then heading down to the full moon party on the 23 oct.
I was hoping for a little help in plotting things to do and palces to see in the north and once Im down south.
Should I consider flying into chang mai then into bankok then to the gulf.
Any help would be appreciated.
Theres only 2 of us going so we would like to be aroung people of our own age really (31)
Hello sir. I think you should take the train up to Chang Mai, check out seat61.com it is an awesome site that gives you all the train schedules in Thailand. I am landing in Bangkok on October 13th I plan on taking the train/ferry to the islands on the first part of my trip, and then the train up north. If you get an overnight sleeper, it will pretty much take no additional time out of your trip. You will also get to see a lot of the country.
Thats a wicked idea, thanks for your thoughts....its helped a great deal
What a way to see as much of the country as possible.......Itl sure beat jumping on a plane
well I booked the flights yesterday and will be heading to bkk on 9th October for 3 weeks. From there who knows!!
