Dependant on quality surely?

I got my Berghaus 65 + 15 Jalan for about £90.

Hi, I haven't traveled abroad before but I am at the start of 2011, I have decided to be come a minimalist. (not quite as bad as becoming a vegetarian.) :)
I brought a Deuter Futura 28L I saw good reviews about it. My plan is to travel around Queensland for between 4 to 12 months depending on how the Fruit Picking work goes.

I really wanted to get on and off the planes quickly as possible and this Futura 28L meets the Carry-On requirements.

hope this helps someone :D

It's worse ... and just a matter of time before zip toggles start to look heavy. ;)

Look on the bright side. It will be a meeting point for other travelers. ;)

edit: I find it's almost impossible to make decisions when packing, as everything looks so bulky and heavy. I reckon it's one of those things that will always be a moving target.

Just butting in here really...

I found a 65 + 15L rucksack for £40 @ blacks which i thought was reasonable so if people are still looking there are a few in sales.
Now i just have to learn how to walk about it wearing it without taking out any innocent bypassers !!!

LOL, I think my girlfriend was trying on that exact bag.. (Well, same price/size).
She turned around to speak to a friend and I got whiplash where she smacked me in the face with it.

My bag is the same though, I think I will need to be more mindful of how I've doubled in size when navigating tight spots.
