My hubby and I actually did something kinda like that on or honeymoon nearly 20 years ago We were in the Solomons and stayed on Eupie Island. There was the resort owners house and a few little cabins. We were the only guests at that time..so it felt deserted. Our mode of transport was either by foot around the small island, or in a dug out canoe across the Morovey (SP??) Lagoon to a REAL deserted isle. It was romantic and adventurous

A desert island would definitely be a romatic retreat! Where else would you get the place all to yourself? I prefer to have the opportunity to meet people if I'm on an adventure trip - and I can't say I'd enjoy a "lonely" trip. The name in itself implies I won't be having a very good time...

If alone - adventure
If with a person of my choosing - adventure in the daylight / romance when it gets dark

If it's deserted - am I really there????????

Probably adventurous but it may get lonely after awhile...

Actaully I would create a fourth option. I would have a peaceful time there. Listening to the waves crash against the rocky cliffs. The wind soaring through the course leaves of the palms.

Adventurous sounds good to me!
