Calgary, Canada! Nice enough people but BORING!! Esp in the winter!! I lived there for 5 months. Longest 5 months of my life! The only upside it being so close to Banff and Lake Louise. Two of my favourite places in the world both in winter and summer!!

San Jose, Costa Rica. Compared to all the other places I visited in the country, it's where 'character' came to die. Hated it!

@ Sander

LOL... I am from Los Angeles and live in Los Angeles... and the funniest part is that I agree. I wouldn't recommend that anybody come here. Southern California is absolutely amazing (Santa Monica, Venice Beach, Orange County, Long Beach, San Diego.. for sure!) But Los Angeles itself just isn't a nice place to be.

In response to the question though.. and I know everybody will disagree with me... I spent almost a month in Vietnam and hated every day of it. Never again. I don't care how beautiful the country is... the people are rude and the food made me sick. Actually, on that note, I also hated Honduras for the exact same reasons.

BUT- that being said, you should never write any place off as bad or undesirable (unless, of course, it's dangerous.) People should always visit places for themselves before forming opinions of it. Some folks have amazing experiences in a certain country, and others may just have had a bad experience. ;)

I'm going to say Vegas (sorry vegasmike.., I hear it's not so bad to live in).

It just felt so seedy. What a great feeling it was leaving! Actually, the one thing I did like was Red Rock Canyon on the way out. That was beautiful. But still, please don't make me go back ;)

As for places I haven't been yet and really have no desire to go to either .. the peak of Everest. I just like oxygen too much

I don't see the hype of Egypt. Nor does South Africa excite me much. Dubai neither...
