I've just uploaded a new version of the mapping script. Amongst a few other improvements, it also fixes a bug that caused saves in Internet Explorer 7 to fail. For some reason, it didn't affect all saves, but I could definitely reproduce it and now I've fixed it so that doesn't happen any more.

Ian, if you're using Internet Explorer 7, then I suspect this is the issue that you faced as well. Give it another go and let me know!

Hi, I'm on an imac using safari as a browser and I've got the same problem.
Sometimes the save button is gray and sometimes I can click the button but the indication 'Saving...' that appears nerver stops saving.
It stays busy. Strange, the maps I made in the past (same computer) were perfect...:(

Hi GeysRoel, I've just uploaded a fix that should hopefully resolve the saving problem. Give it a go and let me know if you still encounter the problem.

Hi Peter, you seem to have solved the problem.
Thanks a lot.

However... there's another issue.
I've got three maps : Paul in China, Paul in Japan and Paul in South-Korea
I made 1 (one) trip named 'Paul in China' but if you visit my page you'll see dozens of trips that all have the same name.
Here is the link :

This is very strange. Could you ore someone else please check this out?
I can't find my other trips (Japan and South-Korea). But if you look you'll see that there's displayed on the map (Japan, South-Korea)
Thank you very much.
Roeland

Solved the problem. It's because I tried to save over and over again. All these times saving the map over and over again. I deleted evertything now. No bother... Thanks anyway

There's 2 more problems I've noticed; (1) Changing a location while editing a photo. If a location for a photo is initially accepted when it is loaded, it is impossible to change this location. (2) Whilst a location for a particular photo is correct, when you select 'show on map' the location that comes up is quite often incorrect...

You might have to clarify that for me. Did you add the location through the photo editing area? If so, did you map it yourself or was it mapped automatically by your photo's exif data? Can you give me an example photo and let me know what steps were taken to map it exactly?

(1) photo called 'On the Canal' was initially mapped to Liuzhou, Guangxi, China (25.906784 , 109.179352) but when I try to map it to Zhaoxingxiang, Liping, Qiandongnan, Guizhou, China, (location on the trip map) which I believe is the correct location, it will not save the change...
(2) photo called 'fishing boats' mapped to Karang Asem, Bali, Indonesia. (-8.394772 , 115.709122) which comes up correctly in the edit details screen, but when you select the 'show on map' from the public gallery, the location comes up in a different location.
