Hey guys ... new to this site and planning on travelling a lot around the world this year. That's my new years resolution. :-)
I'm planning to travel mostly within the USA over the next month or so and then off to Thailand. I'll be in LA the week of Feb 14th - 18th anyways and was wondering if it would bewise to visit Thailand since the Tsunami devastation.
The full moon party is on the 23th of Feb this year, would that be still on schedule and as much fun?
I'll be staying in Bangkok mostly, shoudl I go so early? Also since I'll be there anyway to get involved in some sort of social work whilst I am there?
It's a wise thing to go to thailand after chinese new year. Accommodation would be cheaper as some hotels have surcharge during chinese new year ( around first or second week of Feb )
Since most of your time is in Bangkok, you can visit many places and do some excursion.
Going to samui is safe as on the east coast is not effected by Tsunami. However, better check weather forcare before booking a ticket to Samui.
Thanks so much for your kind interest of helping people in Thailand. You may check the information around late Jan or early Feb as you will get most update situation. What would the people need for help during that time.
Should you need help for tours or anything, you can message me.
Have a nice day!
Thankyou very much for your response.
My plans seem to be changing every week because of work :-/
I might have to delay my trip a month or two now and I am not very happy about that.
I will definately contact you if I need assistance with tours.
