I actually found that the TA that I talked to where all saying the same thing... I always had the feeling that I was waisting my time with them. I usualy check for the apropiate time/day on internet, then I book the ticket with the kindest agence ;)

I am a travel agent and I usually use my online travel center to find the best rates and then let my customers know what the rates are and tell them where to book their travel. The travel center allows us to have a one stop shop to Expedia, Orbitz, Priceline, Travelocity, Hotwire all the online discount travel agencies.

So as you can imagine I would be able to save people a lot of time, effort and money. I do all this for free because all those companies compensate me for sending customers to them. Pretty interesting wouldn't you say?

With almost all the biggies mentioned (Travelocity, Orbitz, Cheaptickets, Expedia) on all of their sites, once you register, they will automatically send you emails when there are good deals on your choosen destinations. A little work at first, but then it is automatic :)

You can really save a lot of money if you travel at all with a ata program. Most cost you a ton of money. The one I am talking about cost $19 a month and allows you access to every perk and advantage a travel agent has. If you would like to know more about this type of offer let me know.

Now i found the travel agents a waste of time the deals that htey came up with were...well absolutely rubbish and they didnt seem bothered anyway! i was finding better on the net myself, £100 cheaper! i as hoping that they would find something cheaper or to the same a mount that i did-but obviously not!

Searching expedia and skyscanner was brill-as it did the searching of all the majors for you-it was pretty quick as well!

Well that's just what i found anyway!
