Hey Guys,

does anybody know of any farms i could volunteer on a cattle range in Texas. Any information would be great?

great. thanks for this.

what i was looking for, was a farmer who needed a hand for a few days and were i could go and work on his farm for free.

any ideas guys?

Your best bet is most definitely through WWOOF USA... Worldwide Opportunities on Organic Farms. It's an international work exchange program where you pay a small amount (I think it's around $20?) just for the annual membership, then they give you a list of farmers in your desired area (in this case Texas) that need help, and you go work around 5 hours a day in exchange for food and lodging. I have a bunch of friends that have done it all over the world and have loved it.
