HappySmile has indicated that this thread is about Thailand

Hi All,

I am travelling to Thailand between the 29th Dec 10- 18 Jan 11. I was in Thailand at beginning of the year (Bangkok, Ko Samui, Ko Tao, Krabi, Phi Phi, Ko Lanta, Phuket) – wowed by the beauty and vowed to come back although will be travelling out of the comfort of a group and will be having my first solo travelling experience.
I would like to meet up with like-minded individuals along the way to swap experiences, have a laugh, see the sights and enjoy cocktails.

My itinerary is roughly like this: -
29 Dec- 3rd Jan Chiang Mai , 3rd Jan- 6th Jan Phi – Phi, from then on I plan to go Ko Pha Ngnan, and Ko Tau.

If anyone is out during that time, or could recommend accommodation that is populated by backpackers and is social, basic and clean I would be happy to hear from you.

Also if anyone could suggest a route that is also frequented by travellers then again any advice would be much appreciated.

:)

I have traveled solo in many countries of the world and have found Thailand the most welcoming by far. In Chiang Mai, head to the Writers Cafe in town for the latest in cheap accomodations, food and sights.
