Hi Guys,

Aside from those listed in the Travel Guides for Brussels, is there any other spots within Brussels that should be a must to see. Actually I intend to walk around the city probably to Grand'Place, Brussels Park and Parc du Cincuentanaire at Jubel par.. is there any other place I should see?

The Atomium seems too far for me to walk to and I'm not sure how to commute from there. I'll be staying near Schuman area.

Thanks..

Check the area around the 'Sint-Gorikshallen - Halles Saint-Géry', full of fancy restaurants, bars and shops, old buildings, and a small Chinatown!

And you should certainly check out Hotel Métropole, the finest example of 'art nouveau' in Brussels. You'll find this hotel at 'Place de Brouckère', close to the main shopping area. It's no problem to enter this 5-star hotel to take some pictures.

More about Brussels

Brussels, Belgium's capital without doubt and capital of the European Union in the minds of many, is a popular destination of diplomats and business people. But don't let that lead you to believe there is nothing more to Brussels than a cluster of office blocks, because you would be mistaken.
