Sucote has indicated that this thread is about Hong Kong

Can anybody give me good hints for a 3-day stay in Hong Kong? I am alone, from Canada, and want to get the most out of that stay. What should I absolutely not miss? Any treasures you would like to share?

I have just spend ten days in Hong Kong, I think the must see includes having dim sum for lunch, the peak of course, star ferry, get the tram in Hong Kong ( the slow ones for 2 HK dollars for as far as you can get) it is the best way to see H.K island as you can stop anyway and it slowly takes you around but do pick the afternoon as it gets busy with peak hours and you might not get a seat.
I don't know where you are staying but we got the tram from Wan Chai then got it to Shawkeiwan (I think that's how you spell it) than get a bus No.9 or a mini bus to Shrek-0 then got the bus half way back and got a mini bus to stanley (nice beach and market) then the mini bus to Causeway bay via repulse bay and that if you start early in the day you can make quite a few stops. That way you would have done a loop around H.K island and maybe get the central Pennusia railway up the peak to catch the sun set. That leaves you one day to see Kowloon side may after getting the star ferry to Tsim Sha Tsui then get a taxi to the temple street market (better do that at night as it is better view on the harbour and more stalls on the market.
Then one day maybe you could get the ferry form Central to Lan Tau Island to see the biggest budda and the temple and that.
Hope this helps, have fun.
