Travel iron?! I don't even iron clothes when I'm at home! ;)

I've never taken an iron, but I hardly ever wear clothes that need ironing. Most hotels will have an iron in each room, or at the very least be able to bring one up.

In Thailand, laundry service is easy and cheap. Leave your iron at home and send your clothes to laundry. Last week I was there, the most expensive one charge USD1 per cloth (with washing+drying+ironing). You can send only those clothes that you want to be ironed.

It depends how much you don't want to wear creased clothes. Getting your hotel/hostel to iron them each time is time consuming and costs money. Alot of backpackers are not fussed on their appearance but if you are then take the travel iron, I would...

Have fun
