Hi Dee and Jeevan,
The costs are quite complicated. I am budgeting approx. $4,000 per person. The petrol will come to approx. $3,000 in total (for everyone whether its 2,3,4 or 5 travelers), but unexpected costs will be visas and immigration. The majority of locations where we will be camping will be either free or a maximum of $5-$10 per night.
As an Australian I am not sure what your visa requirements would be. I would check with the different countries I listed. I am confident most will be OK and you can get VOA, however Libya, Egypt, Sudan and Ethiopia will most likely require pre arrange visas.
The estimated start time will be the 1st of Feb, and the estimated finish date will be May 15th.
oh, I'm British, 28, Male and Matthew is 24, Irish and Male. Both calm, nice people :-)
Sounds like a great adventure.
I'm on my way back to Dublin after travelling all over South America for the past nine months.
I could be interested, any seats left?
I would be interested in this sounds brilliant. I'm 25 Scottish male who's travelled before and would have no problem with money. I was SA for the world cup and would love to see more of that continent. Still seats spare?
