Hello! I'm Elena, and I live in Yalta (Crimea, Ukraine). If you need any information about Yalta area, you can ask me. As a local and as a tourist guide I can give you piece of advice.
In a few words, Yalta places of interest can be roughly divided into following groups:
Churches (Alexander Nevsky church, John Zlatoust church, Roman Catholic church and so on)
Palaces and parks of 19th - beginning of 20th century (Alupka, Livadia, Massandra, Dulber, Jusupov's palace and other estates + Nikita
Botanical Gardens founded in 1812)
Mountains (Ay-Petri is the most easily accessed because of cable car. Other routes require hiking).
I'll be happy to explain any details.
If you want you can help us to write the wiki guide. At the moment there is not a lof of information on Yalta, but the template is already in place, so you add information pretty easily. Also you can add yourself as a travel helper for Yalta (and the Ukraine).

Yes, it's a good idea. What should I do to get started?
You can just click the edit link on the Yalta page and type away Like Herr Bert mentioned, the template is already in place; it just needs some content. And if you add yourself as a travel helper for Yalta, then any time someone posts about Yalta in the forums you will get an email (if you want to).
